This was the first time we had properly look at the idea of refurbished IT equipment as Pure IT Refurbished were introduced to us through a connection of the school.

I was initially concerned that the refurbished computers wouldn’t run as quickly or smoothly as a new computer but due to the obvious costs benefits we decided to explore the option.

We received a trial desktop from Pure IT to test for a number of months before we were in a position to look at refreshing some of our desktops.

We put the trial unit through a number of tests with no problems and got experienced how fast it was in comparison to the old machines we were running in the school. This along with the cost saving compared to buying new made an obvious choice.

I was little concerned about the desktops being delivered on a pallet rather than individually boxed, would cause damage to some units. The delivery was on a pallet but the computers were well protected and packaged; this also saved excess packaging material to dispose of after.

The process of ordering and delivery was excellent and dealt with fast and easily. The imaging service Pure IT offered and the quickness of the unpacking; made it the most stress free and easy computer rollout we have had at our school.

Our users were unaware that the desktops were refurbished units and performed 100% better than the equipment they were using previously.
